What inspired you to make Nowhere? What inspired me to produce a Project like Nowhere was two things: 1) There is an extremely successful Web Series on YouTube made by Vivziepop named Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel. This incredible project had inspired me to create my own series with developing characters and to combine that with my passion for filmmaking. 2) During my college experience, I met numerous people who either already graduated or who are graduating with me, also wanting opportunities in film, so I thought to myself, "Instead of looking and hoping for opportunities, let me be the opportunity and be a window for others." So in a way, this project will not only expand my skills and community, but also open doors for those interested in more filmmaking opportunities.

What is Nowhere based on?Nowhere was based on a few things: 1) There is an episode of SpongeBob called Gone, where SpongeBob wakes up in Bikini Bottom, noticing everyone is missing. Meanwhile, he tries to take everyone's place to ignore the fact that he's alone. I find this episode really impactful, because even though he was in a world he remembers, there is still a feeling of unfamiliarity for SpongeBob. This ties in with Nowhere, where June, although she sees her loved ones she remembers, she is still lost in a universe who have no clue who she is. 2) This wasn't intentional, but after talking to a few people about my idea, it reminded them about Alice in Wonderland. The instance where she goes down the rabbit hole into a strange world as she tries to adapt in this bizarre environment. 3) In a sense, I also based Nowhere off the movie Dr. Strange: Multiverse of Madness. I really liked the idea of a multiverse story, but I wanted to raise the stakes but instead of Heroes capable of Planet-Level events, it will be regular human beings in a "realistic" scenario.

What was the most difficult part doing your film?Audio. I can guarantee you that creating films with audio is not as easy as it looks for someone who doesn't have a lot of experience with using a mic. Why was it so difficult? Well, during editing I encountered numerous audio issues that made me either reshoot some of the scenes, or tweak around the audio until it looks somewhat decent. I didn't expect the Pilot Episode to be perfect, but when I encounter issues like this that make my content not up to par, it's quite aggravating. So for those who want to pursue filmmaking, a piece of advice: - Start working on films without audio to understand the fundamentals -Practice with audio before recording anything official -Spare time to reshoot in case an audio issue occurs

What is something you wish was different for Nowhere?Story-wise, nothing. Production-wise: I'd change the location for the Diner Scene near the end of the Episode. The reason why is because we had little to no time shooting this scene. To give context, some of the locations I recorded for Nowhere were at my college school, CSUSB. One location was in this building called the Student Union. It was basically this hang-out place where students can grab a bite to eat or to socialize at the bowling alley, cantina, etc. I picked that location, because it was close by for my cast. Not to mention, in terms of how it paced, I loved the location for it. The reason why we had little to no time shooting there, was because at the time it was Christmas break. So, resources at the school closed earlier in the day. On top of that, the scene had to be later in the day, so I couldn't do it earlier. We got to set at around 4:30PM, while the building closed at 6PM. That's not a lot of time to film the biggest scene in the Episode (a 13 minute scene). I had an alternate location in mind for the Diner Scene, but it ended up being closed (Not closed down, but it was a maintenance closing) and I didn't know how long it would be before they'd reopen, so I stuck with the Student Union.
